Building Site Security in Craigieburn
Craigieburn is in the City of Hume, about 25 km north of Melbourne’s CBD. It is one of the larger suburbs in the northern corridor, with established streets in the south and newer estates further north, so building work ranges from new homes to knockdown-rebuilds and commercial projects.
With established and new areas side by side, sites here vary a lot. A single Builders Eye suits a rebuild on an older street, while a 180° or twin system covers a wider estate lot.
How It Works on Your Site
On a new estate, our systems work from slab stage, before power, fencing or neighbours are in place. Each pole carries its own solar panel, battery, 4G/5G modem and cameras, so it records day and night and sends intrusion alerts straight to your phone. You can check live footage, play back recordings and download clips whenever you need them. Every system comes with warning signage, and some models, such as the Ninja and Max, add a strobe and siren.
Systems and Weekly Hire Rates
The Builders Eye covers most rebuilds at $50 a week. Estate lots in the north of Craigieburn often suit the Builders Eye Pro.
| System | Cameras | Hire (inc GST) |
|---|---|---|
| Builders Eye | 8MP camera | $50/week |
| Builders Eye Pro | 8MP 180° panoramic camera | $60/week |
| Builders Eye Twin | Dual 8MP cameras | $70/week |
| Builders Eye Pro Twin | Dual 8MP 180° cameras | $90/week |
| Builders Eye Ninja | 4MP PTZ, 4x zoom, strobe and siren | $60/week |
| Builders Eye Max | 8MP security + 12MP timelapse | $60/week |
Hire starts from $35/week inc GST with the Builders Eye Lite (self-managed, Optus 4G, limited availability). Compare every system on our solar CCTV systems page, or see solar CCTV hire in Melbourne for the full hire range.
